Yesterday (Thursday, May 22nd, 2025), I successfully defended¹ my “Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches”! I’m very happy about this, obviously; this took a lot of work, both research-wise and administration-wise. I’m very grateful to the referees (Muriel Livernet, Alexandru Oancea, and Oscar Randal-Williams) as well as the other jury members (Clemens Berger, Bruno Vallette, and Emmanuel Wagner). I am also grateful to a lot of other people, see the introduction to my memoir 😉. Anyway, here’s a picture of Emmanuel, the president of the jury, announcing the result.
